A ready-made way to spread your investment risk

Like many investors, you may want to spread your risk by investing in a number of funds. But it's not always easy to know which funds to choose. This is where All-in-One funds could help.

Funds designed to match a range of risk profiles

We have a selection of ready-made funds designed to match a range of risk profiles.

You should still regularly review your investment choices to ensure they continue to meet your goals and needs over the long-term.

How can I find All-in-One funds?

You can choose to invest in All-in-One funds by using our secure online smart+ service, available 24/7. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click the Research and Planning tab and then select ‘Search investments’
  3. Select All-in-One fund choice from ‘Choose investments’
  4. Choose the All-in-one fund that best meets your needs and add to your watchlist

How are these funds managed?

Our All-in-One funds are managed using a blended management style which is a mixture of actively and passively managed funds.

Passive management is where the fund manager will track or mirror the overall performance of a particular market such as the FTSE® 100 Index.

With active management the fund manager uses their knowledge and experience, together with research and forecasts to select investments that they believe, when combined, can potentially outperform a market or sector in the hope of achieving better returns for the investor.

All investments carry a degree of risk so your investment can go down as well as up and you could get back less than you invest. It's also important to remember that your investments can fall and rise in value purely because of changes in currency exchange rates.
